Our Mission
Help R Heroes aims to
- Renew hope
- Strengthen self-worth
- Nuture financial independence
through artisanal design and manufacturing classes using trained instructors in a safe, welcoming environment.
We supply all materials and instructors, as well as a safe, secure environment to work in. At the end of the class, students have a physical object and the beginnings of a new skillset.
Veterans can keep the object as a reminder of what they accomplished, or, if chosen by the staff, can consign it through Help R Heroes online, on social media and at multiple events. The veteran is paid immediately from the proceeds of the sale.

Crafting classes offer a variety of benefits for veterans, especially those dealing with PTSD or having a hard time reintegrating into civilian life.
